Mindful Eating Blog & Free Resources
Compassionate insights and tips to help you make a start on navigating emotional eating, food shame, and finding peace with food.
My blog posts and resources provide lots of tips and information about how to feel more in charge of food, strategies to tackle mindless overeating, and how to address emotional eating or binge eating. They offer a common-sense approach to weight loss and long-term weight control. In order to make positive, long-term changes, becoming more self-aware around your relationship with food and having better insight into not just what you eat, but how and why you eat, will give you a better foundation from which to find a personalised approach to improving your own unique relationship with food.
Food and eating can symbolise different things to different people. For example, food can calm you down when your nervous system feels completely overwhelmed; it can act as a powerful distraction, temporarily numbing your mind and shielding you from uncomfortable thoughts, heavy emotions or stressful situations that feel too difficult to face in the moment; it can act as a reliable friend when you’re feeling lonely; it can offer a sense of control or predictability when the rest of your life feels chaotic, or it can serve as a safe and easily accessible reward at the end of an exhausting day.
Because food carries such deep meaning, navigating these various layers can quickly feel completely overwhelming. Whilst these articles can’t unpick your entire history overnight, my blog posts are here to break down this complexity into clear, compassionate insights to help you understand your habits and safely make a start on your journey of healing.
My blog posts reflect much of what I cover in my one-to-one sessions and webinars. I hope they inspire in you the hope to begin a journey towards a happier, healthier relationship with food.
If you’re tired of trying to figure things out alone and want to take the next step, let’s look at your unique relationship with food together. Contact me (Emma Randall) to book a free discovery call, or Whatsapp/text me: 07961 423120.
