Weight Management Services: Helping You To Improve Your Relationship With Food
I offer one-to-one sessions (via Zoom, or in person- Surrey-based), webinars and talks including ‘How To Eat Normally And Lose Weight Without Dieting’ and an online fortnightly support group.
One-To-One Sessions
If you want to lose weight and achieve long-term weight control by improving your eating habits and relationship with food I offer in-depth, personalised one-to-one sessions, providing simple but effective dietary tips to help you achieve normal, balanced eating.
Perhaps you’ve tried all the diets and always end up back where you started, or you feel like you need to fix your relationship with food. I can help you to put an end to calorie counting, food guilt, diet rules and problematic eating habits such as binge eating and mindless eating.
The reason many diet plans are hard to stick to isn’t due to a lack of willpower- it’s because they can be too restrictive, and when you combine this with an impatience for quick results, lack of nutritional knowledge, mindless eating habits, stressful living and an obesogenic environment where we’re constantly confronted with food, diet plans inevitably don’t work.
I can support you in re-learning attitudes and beliefs around food, weight loss and nutrition so that you can stop going on diets and start approaching food in a way that’s enjoyable and sustainable. We’ll explore a more effective strategy for weight loss and long-term weight control that you can start implementing straight away by helping you to reflect on not just what you eat, but how and why you eat.
Knowledge and awareness-building is key, providing you with the insight and skills required to enable you to make effective adjustments to your mindset for lasting change.
My one-to-one sessions are for you if:-
~ You’re tired of yo-yo dieting, you’ve tried all the quick fixes, and now you really want to lose weight by eating in a normal, balanced way for real, lasting change
~ You know what healthy eating is, enjoy healthy foods, but find it hard to be consistent
~ You’ve lost weight and need some effective strategies to help you keep the weight off
~ You want to start trusting yourself around food and have more positive eating experiences, rather than eating mindlessly, binge eating or feeling constantly guilty about your food choices
~ You’re ready to do the mindset work that diet plans haven’t taught you, and discard any unhelpful beliefs, attitudes or behaviours around eating, nutrition and weight loss that have been keeping you stuck.

“I can’t thank Emma enough. From the very beginning, she was incredibly caring and truly listened to everything I was saying. She made me feel understood and supported in a way I hadn’t experienced before. Emma helped me to see food in a completely different light- not as the enemy, but as something to work with, not against. Her approach gently challenged my thinking and completely transformed my relationship with food. I’ll definitely continue to see Emma every now and again for a top-up, and it’s such a comfort knowing she’s just a phone call away if I ever need her. Thank you, Emma- truly, from the bottom of my heart”.

Format Of Sessions
Clients can choose their own number of sessions and can opt for weekly or fortnightly sessions, depending on individual needs and budget. If clients choose to see me ongoing for multiple sessions, they have the option of reducing session frequency. For example, they might start off with weekly or fortnightly sessions but further down the line they might choose to see me for reviews once a month or every 6-8 weeks. I offer flexibility depending on individual needs and budget.
From my experience of working with clients, several sessions over time is much more effective than just one or two sessions in a short period, as building new and sustainable habits can take time. Consistency is key, and so regular sessions over a few months are a great opportunity for clients to receive ongoing support which can help maintain motivation, develop and consolidate skills and enable us to re-visit any particular challenges they might be facing. For this reason, I recommend a
minimum of 6 sessions.
Initial session (90 minutes): £75
Subsequent sessions (60 minutes): £60
SPECIAL OFFER: Buy 3 sessions up front and get a 4th session HALF PRICE (£30). Contact me for details.
Webinars And Talks
My webinars and in-person talks cover a range of topics including: ‘How To Eat Normally And Lose Weight Without Dieting’, ‘Mindful Eating’, ‘Food & Mood’, ‘Healthy Eating For Hectic Lives’ and ‘Good Fats, Bad Fats’.
I also offer half day/full day webinars and in-person workshops at organisations on request. See ‘Mindful Eating Workshops‘.
“Emma’s talks are excellent- very thought-provoking and empowering. Emma is so welcoming and leads really useful, comfortable and directed sessions that encourage openness in a safe environment. I’ve come away from Emma’s talks feeling encouraged, empowered, inspired, hopeful and confident to try some new solutions. I highly recommend her talks!”.
Webinar: ‘How To Eat Normally And Lose Weight Without Dieting’
The reason many diet plans are hard to stick to isn’t due to a lack of willpower- it’s because they can be too restrictive, and when you combine this with an impatience for quick results, lack of nutritional knowledge, mindless eating habits, stressful living and an obesogenic environment where we’re constantly confronted with food, diet plans inevitably don’t work.
Food can become a coping mechanism for stress, boredom, loneliness, anxiety or lack of fulfilment, or it can be used as a form of reward or to get a dopamine ‘hit’. Each person has their own unique relationship with food, and building better self-awareness and insight can help to demystify things, provide clarity and enable the individual to identify strategies for positive change.
This webinar uncovers the game-changing benefits of re-learning attitudes and beliefs around food, weight loss and nutrition so that you can stop going on diets and start approaching food in a way that’s enjoyable and sustainable. It presents a more effective strategy for weight loss and long-term weight control that you can start implementing straight away by helping you to reflect on not just what you eat, but how and why you eat.
